Planning for Challenge Event
Whether you're going big or keeping it simple, here’s how to make your event unforgettable — and impactful.
Set Your Date (Or Don’t Just Yet)
No pressure! You can start fundraising the moment your page is live. Lock in your event date when you're ready — the important thing is to get started and build momentum.
Once you’ve picked a date, invite your friends, family, teammates, or colleagues to be part of the action. Whether they’re flipping snags, snapping photos, or cheering you on — every bit of support counts.
We’ve got your back with a handy event day checklist in our fundraising guide. It covers everything from setup to shoutouts. [Download the guide here].
Make It Yours
Get creative with your event theme! Rock your #IFICANYOUCAN tee, decorate your space with posters and bunting, or add your own flair. The more fun, the better.
Go live, post stories, or upload your best moments to social media. Use the hashtag #IFICANYOUCAN to inspire others and boost your fundraising reach.

I’m taking part in the IF I CAN YOU CAN CHALLENGE, a national fitness challenge running from 03 November to 03 December – International Day of People with Disability.
The Challenge was inspired by Jacob, a young Aussie living with intellectual disability, cerebral palsy and autism. Jacob wishes every day his brain and body worked like everyone else’s. But Jacob doesn’t want pity – he wants what we all want: the opportunity to be accepted, included and part of his community.
This year, I’m taking on the Challenge to help young people aged 5–25 living with intellectual, physical and sensory disorders improve their physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
Every donation helps create more opportunities for young people like Jacob to get active, build their abilities and feel included in their communities.
Please support my Challenge and help power disability inclusion.
If Jacob can, I can too.
